![]() The features and settings you use in Call Protect are now in the AT&T ActiveArmor mobile security app. We’ve combined both our security apps into one app for both call and data protection. Either it’s broken or AT&T list of reverse number lookups is severely lacking.Īs of April 21, 2022, AT&T Call Protect features moved to the AT&T ActiveArmor mobile security app. Back when I paid for plus many years ago I could see names of people calling not in my contacts. If not, Call Protect needs to recognize the “AT&T ActiveArmor Mobile Security Advanced” addon and enable the plus features.Īlso CallerID should actually work. ![]() Is CallProtect going away and ArmorActive replacing it? If yes, the ArmorActive needs to support call push notifications. Finally the app does not send any push notifications for calls. Also reverse number lookup doesn’t give a name for numbers I enter. I just get a phone number for calls not in my contact list. The app sends me push notifications when it blocks spam calls.Īctive Armor shows I’m subscribed to “AT&T ActiveArmor Mobile Security Advanced included with your wireless rate plan.” It allows me to change the Nuisance call settings (which is reflected in the Call Protect app) and claims Caller ID is active, though I’ve never see caller ID work. The app also says I need to upgrade to plus to get caller ID or use reverse number lookup. The Call Protect app says I’m on the basic plan and locks out the Nuisance Controls so I can’t change them. ![]() I see Mobile Security is now Active Armor and includes Call Protect, but I’m confused by the differences I’m seeing. I’m on the recently retired Unlimited Elite plan and had added the included Mobile Security add on to my account.
